During May each year, 4 open workouts will be released, you will be given 1 week to complete each of these workouts (so 4 weeks in total) at your own affiliate, Gym or Training Facility, movement standards will be provided and you will need your workout judged and verified by a CrossFit Coach, Certified CrossFit judge or a Certificate Level III or IV Trainer.
You can perform each workout as many times as you like during the allocated 1 week and when you submit your verified score you will be able to track yourself on the leader board alongside all of the other athletes in your division and across your country and also nationally.
The top 5* athletes of each age/division will be selected to go to the Major League Games held in May 2nd & 3rd* 2020 in Melbourne Australia (Saturday & Sunday) where they will go head to head in the Games Finals.
*There may be an option for it to be on the 1st & 2nd of May (Friday & Saturday), final decision will be made once venues have been secured.
**Due to certain numbers in divisions, if a division only has 5 athletes then the top 4 will be selected for the Games. If this is the case, then to make up the numbers we will select the top 6 in divisions that have a huge number of athletes (this is so we can have a certain number of athletes at the games to make it the best experience possible for all).
NOTE: ALL ATHLETES ARE REQUIRED TO VIDEO THEIR WORKOUT BUT NOT REQUIRED WHEN SUBMITTING THEIR SCORES. ONLY THOSE WHOSE SCORES LOOK QUESTIONABLE WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A VIDEO & IT WILL BE VERIFIED BY ONE OF THE MAJOR LEAGUE JUDGES.
The Major League prides itself on providing a fun and fair playing field, encouraging good sportsmanship, camaraderie and of course a thriving and supportive community.
